What is Veil Token?
Overview
Veil Cash is a privacy application designed for users who require anonymity within a controlled environment. The protocol uses zk-SNARKs cryptography to enable verified depositors to obscure transaction trails on Base L2. Verified users are those meeting specific criteria derived from both on-chain and off-chain data. The non-custodial design means users retain control of their private keys throughout.
How it works
Veil operates as a set of smart contracts deployed on Base L2. Qualified users deposit funds into the protocol and can later withdraw to a different address without establishing a traceable connection between the two addresses. Zero-knowledge SNARKs provide the cryptographic mechanism that enables this privacy layer.
Token and supply
VEIL has a maximum supply of 100 million tokens. The total supply is approximately 80 million tokens. The material does not describe the token's utility functions, fee mechanisms, or staking parameters.
