What is Yield Guild Games?
Founding and expansion
YGG was established in 2020. Its co-founders are Gabby Dizon, Beryl Li and the pseudonymous Owl of Moistness. The organisation initially coordinated gaming communities and digital assets. Its 2026 direction extends that infrastructure into human feedback and data evaluation. AI Alerts connects community members with work opportunities. GIG Rewards supports another route for verified human-data contributions.
Guild and treasury infrastructure
The Guild Protocol organises membership, assets and activities as separate components. Verifiable identities record roles and contributions. Programmable payout tools support coordinated work. Specialist guilds can operate in gaming, AI data or treasury management. In August 2025, YGG allocated fifty million tokens from its treasury to an Ecosystem Pool. The pool was established for proprietary strategies using YGG’s own assets. It does not accept third-party investment capital. Moving treasury tokens into active deployment affects their supply classification. That initiative is separate from an individual holder depositing tokens into an investment fund.
