What is Vanguard xStock?
Overview
VTIX enables direct ownership of tokenized versions of 57 US stocks and exchange-traded funds. Each token represents a legal claim to the underlying asset and operates under EU regulatory compliance. The project targets retail investors worldwide who lack access to traditional equity markets, removing geographic restrictions and intermediary costs.
How it works
Vanguard xStock tokens are deployed across multiple blockchains including Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, and Solana. Each token maintains a 1:1 backing ratio with its corresponding stock or ETF. The tokens function as composable DeFi primitives, allowing integration with decentralized protocols and trading on both centralized and decentralized exchanges.

VTIX has a total supply of approximately 339 thousand tokens with no specified maximum supply limit. The circulating supply is considerably lower at around 4,700 tokens.
